Location of ferry port in Bandar Abbas

It is 15km far from other port where you take ferry to Qeshm Island and Hormoz

The immigration is at the third big building after entering the gate.

Time table from Bandar Abbas to Sharjah

At 9pm, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday/Arrive at the next morning around 8 am

(Ferry departs at 10-11pm when every passengers finish dinner.)

Price

2,700,000($75) in Rial

80$ if you pay in dollar.

(Officer asked 85$ at first. Then we asked cheap and got $80 deal)

Ticket office

You have to go before 6 pm to register. They closed to sell the ticket at 6 pm.

But I bought ticket between 8-9pm. I went to the inside of checking point and asked them. They printed ticket for us later.

Immigration

Close around 7:30 pm-8:00 pm

We got exit stamp even before we bought ticket.

It is said that open again later 9?10? pm.

300 ferry fee + 35 immigration fee = 335 AED ($90)

Dollar is not acceptable. Only local money

Working hours (during Ramadan 8:30 am to 2:00 pm.. sorry don’t know other time. Let me know if you know.)

Passanger Reporting time at the port : 2pm to 5 pm.
(You should be there before 5 pm. If you arrive earlier, there is some office you can take the rest with old air conditional and toilet)

Inside of the ferry

Seat

You have the seat in four rows.

Ferry is quite empty that there lots of place to lie down on December. (It is said summer season is busy)

They turn on the light at the left side during the night. It is better to sleep at the right side or behind)

Toilet

It is simple Iranian toilet. No toilet paper. But soap and hot water. Not too bad.

Food

Dinner and breakfast is free.

Dinner is good that there is chicken, rice, thin bread, drinking, and tea. Dinner is served before 9:30pm.

Breakfast is too simple. Only one bread, jam, butter, small cheese, and tea. Breakfast is served around 6:30-7:00am.
